Eclectic Living

Anne's Perspective:
Now, THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' ABOUT!!!  Love this room so much because it's crazy fun with lots of odd elements - my fav.  Two orange tufted sofas to die for, a houndstooth extended wingback  - big gold palm tree, over scaled dog on top of the piano - how much more eclectic can we get??  Lovely drapes in black to anchor the space along with a beautiful contemporary rug, 2 X-stools backing the sofa and a furry chair in the background.   This is just an excellent showing of the best of Eclectic Style - I'm sold.  Wrap it up...I'll take it all!!

Dylan's Perspective:
Wow. All I can say is WOW! Orange leather sofas facing each other are great for conversations, and the tallest chair in history is in this room! Large scale yellow houndstooth, hello! And the furry chair in the other corner gives great contrasting textures to the sheen of the leather. Funky, that is what I'm calling the dog. How awesome is he... or she... You know, we saw upholstered legs on furniture in the 80's and these stools look nothing like the 80's. Black curtains frame the windows nicely and the lucite lamps lighten them up a tad. And look at that bronze palm tree! The Eclectic style should be whimsy, unusual, and most of all fun. I think everyone should have a touch of whimsy in their house to create a playful atmosphere.
